St. Anthony’s Art Club started up again in October. Students will be drawing, sketching, painting and learning different and new techniques to expand their creative abilities. We have begun learning and completing exercises in the Art of Calligraphy Writing. Calligraphy is a fascinating and absorbing skill. The practice of beautiful lettering is a traditional art. Students have begun by learning the correct use of calligraphy pens and practicing different styles of lettering. This year we will also immerse ourselves in the art of Decoupage, Drawing, Sketching and Painting. Everyone has been gifted with the art of creativity. All it takes is an interest and the willingness to practice. Art Club meets every Thursday at 3:00 in Room 302.
